Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus VA is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Maternal Infant Unit. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of labor experience and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in unit-specific quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Active compact license in the state of Virginia
  • At least 2 years of labor experience
  • Strong knowledge of labor and delivery nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The Maternal Infant Unit at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus VA is a 24-bed unit that provides care to labor and delivery patients.
