Overview

Emory Healthcare is committed to supporting the growth and development of new graduate nurses through our 12-month transition-to-practice program. This comprehensive program is designed to provide a smooth transition into the role of a registered nurse, with a focus on clinical expertise, leadership, and professional development.

Program Details
  • Participate in a series of learning and work experiences designed to assist in the transition into the first professional role as an RN.
  • Collaborate with clinical experts and peers to develop clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in evidence-based practice projects to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
  • Receive tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, and other benefits to support career development.
Qualifications
  • Possess a current RN license in Georgia or a Compact State.
  • Successfully pass boards with results verified prior to the start date.
  • Hold an active Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Provide a comprehensive resume highlighting clinical rotation hours, facilities worked in, and specific units worked on.
  • Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation for Commission Education in Nursing (ACEN).
