About the Role

Sabel Systems Technology Solutions, LLC is a leading provider of innovative digital engineering and acquisition technical stack design, implementation, and support. We have projects across the DoD, industry, and academia, operating in secure public clouds, on-premises clouds, and hybrid clouds.

We are seeking a data scientist with experience in using data to develop digital models supporting model-based systems engineering, operational, and logistical optimization. Our customer is responsible for managing spaceport launch operations, putting critical payloads into space orbit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and develop reports in the form of models, CVS files, and narratives.
  • Work with information from data sources that differ in language, format, and syntax, crossing different functional boundaries such as engineering, logistics, and financial communities of interest.
  • Develop protocols that enrich data presentations for senior management decisions and define gaps in subordinate data both within a functional community and for data that crosses functional boundaries.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data to support model-based systems engineering for a cutting-edge US DoD organization.
  • Support digital transformation within an organization.
  • Use data to improve modeling concepts and processes.
  • Research and develop recommendations to enhance the fidelity and holistic application of information and data process both at the program/project level and enterprise level.

Requirements

  • C+, ABAP (SAP), NOSQL, data cubes, low code, and no code programming.
  • Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience using data to support organizational transformation.
  • Experience using data to improve organizational performance.
  • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering.

  • Lean process improvement.
  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering.
