Key Responsibilities- Coordinate referrals from physicians and healthcare facilities for patients with spine-related conditions.
- Provide comprehensive patient education on their illness and planned treatment, ensuring they understand their care plan and can navigate the complex healthcare system.
- Collaborate with community resources and service providers to enhance the patient experience and eliminate barriers to successful care.
- Facilitate administrative activities to support the center and staff in achieving goals.
- Complete established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited school in Nursing.
- 3 years of clinical experience in oncology nursing.
- Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
- Prior patient teaching experience.
- Specialty Certification as Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
