We are looking for a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. This role involves operating a Trumpf CNC Laser cutting machine, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to specifications.

Key Responsibilities
The CNC Laser Operator will be responsible for:

  • Operating the CNC laser cutting machine and associated equipment in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Setting up the machine based on material characteristics, loading programs, and adjusting parameters for optimal operation.
  • Monitoring the bulk tank system and notifying supervisors regarding inventory levels.
  • Conducting inspections of both in-process and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace while performing regular cycle counts.
  • Executing machine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and upkeep of machinery.
  • Collaborating with team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and quality standards, including ISO and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication using laser technology.
  • Proficiency in basic metal fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, and punching.
  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints and utilize measuring tools accurately.
  • Experience with Trumpf or similar CNC laser cutting machines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
