Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and interpret analytics to support payer negotiations and drive strategic decisions related to payer relationships and contracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement analytic models to respond to proposals and inform strategy for payer contracting.
  • Manage the payer contracting analytics process, including individual payer negotiations and internal discussions.
  • Analyze data from the Data Warehouse to build models for payer contract negotiations and create visualizations for leadership.
  • Research payer market share, products, and contracting processes to provide perspective on strategy for expansion into new markets.
  • Evaluate the profitability of payer contracts and lead the development of financial models to project financial impact of value-based contracts.
  • Work closely with revenue cycle, finance, and other partner departments to ensure contract terms are understood and executed accurately.
  • Develop and deliver concise, data-based recommendations to management to assist with strategy development and decision making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with healthcare data analysis, managed care, or value-based contracting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI).
