Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Tech Company: Nurses Etc. Staffing Location: San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), San Antonio, TX Job Summary: Nurses Etc. Staffing is seeking skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technicians to join our team at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) in San Antonio, TX. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities: * Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures * Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and obtaining informed consent * Maintain a clean and safe environment, including sterilizing equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care * Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies Requirements: * Certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician * Experience in cardiac catheterization procedures preferred * Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Dedication to providing excellent patient care Benefits: * Competitive compensation package * Comprehensive health benefits * Opportunities for professional development and advancement * Supportive work environment with a collaborative team Degree/Education: * Graduate from a cardiovascular technologist program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) through the Joint review Committee in Cardiovascular Technology (JRC-CVT) Certifications: * Must have and maintain a valid and current Basic Life Support (BLS) card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association OR American Red Cross Experience: * At least one year experience practicing as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician Licensure/Registration: * Registered as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) as determined by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is preferred Equal Employment Opportunity: Nurses Etc.
