Job Summary:

Aptive Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive cardiac catheterization services in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team environment. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in cardiac catheterization, transaortic valve replacement, and electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex cardiac catheterization, transaortic valve replacement, and electrophysiology procedures with precision and accuracy.
  • Monitor and assess patients during and after procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Demonstrate advanced nursing skills in ECG monitoring, hemodynamics, and emergency response.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and procedures in the electronic medical records system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current, valid, and unrestricted state license for Registered Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of critical care experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years within the past three (3) years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory.
  • Demonstrated competence and excellence in advanced nursing skills, ECG monitoring, hemodynamics, emergency response, patient teaching, and communication with patients and their families.
