Position Overview: The Property Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of an 80-unit affordable housing community. This role includes living onsite in a 2-bedroom unit and entails managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive living environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage rent collection, bank deposits, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with HUD and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain waiting lists and process lease agreements.
  • Supervise onsite staff and coordinate property maintenance.
  • Conduct annual inspections and manage resident relations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in property management.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
  • Ability to effectively resolve resident issues and manage staff.

Criminal Background Check: All candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check as part of the hiring process. This includes checks for any household members over 18 years of age who will reside onsite.
