POSITION TITLE:
Buffet Setup & Runner

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving food and beverages in accordance with established etiquette standards while ensuring a delightful dining experience for all members and guests.

WORK PERFORMED:

1. *Reviews daily function sheets for any specific arrangements for member or private events.

2. *Communicates with the supervisor to receive special instructions for the day's operations.

3. *Thoroughly understands the directives outlined in the Banquet Event Order (BEO).

4. *Completes all preparatory tasks necessary for each meal service.

5. *Takes food and beverage orders when required.

6. *Monitors for potential issues related to excessive alcohol consumption or underage drinking.

7. *Interacts with members in a friendly and courteous manner.

8. *Maintains awareness of timing to ensure all arrangements are executed promptly.

9. *Restocks items as necessary and communicates effectively with the host/member, kitchen staff, and management.

10. *Welcomes members/guests upon arrival and ensures all their needs are met or exceeded.

11. *Organizes and keeps the workstation clean and orderly.

12. *Develops a comprehensive understanding of all food and beverage menus.

13. *Adapts to last-minute changes while maintaining a positive demeanor.

14. *Informs the supervisor of any complaints immediately. Reports any rule violations to the supervisor.

15. *Maintains a neat and professional appearance in accordance with uniform standards.

16. *Reads, understands, and complies with the Club Bylaws and Rules as necessary.

17. *Completes all side-work at the conclusion of the shift.

18. *If required, fills out the server report at the end of the shift.

19. *Carries out all other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

20. *Checks in with the supervisor before leaving the premises.

1 year of relevant experience preferred but not mandatory.

F&B Manager or Supervisor

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
