Operations Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential reliability risks in our products and processes.
  • Develop and implement effective reliability testing strategies to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Work closely with design and engineering teams to incorporate reliability considerations into product design and development.
  • Analyze and resolve reliability-related issues, using data-driven approaches to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure that our products are produced with the highest level of quality and reliability.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective reliability testing strategies and resolving complex reliability-related issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar), with a strong understanding of reliability principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS/PhD in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar), with a strong background in reliability engineering and testing.
  • Strong understanding of reliability models, accelerated test models, and industry test standards (JEDEC, MIL, ASTM, IEEE).
  • Knowledge of reliability tools and techniques, including FMEA, DOE, and statistical process control.
  • Experience with big data and machine learning, with the ability to apply these technologies to enhance reliability testing and analysis.
