About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineering Manager to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Systems SRE organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating critical infrastructure components, including provisioning, configuration management, security, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and operation of critical infrastructure components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services
  • Develop and implement scalable, secure, and reliable systems and infrastructure
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development or production operations in a large-scale environment
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams, ideally in SRE or Production Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of core operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management
  • Understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, fault analysis, and other common reliability engineering concepts
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization
  • Proficient in at least one of Python, Golang, or Java
