Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of Front Desk Clerk at The Element Austin Round Rock. As a representative of our hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out process.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000, based on experience and performance. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with Employer Match, providing peace of mind and financial security.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities as a Front Desk Clerk will include:

  • Welcoming guests and processing their check-in/check-out in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Responding promptly to customer queries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and courteous tone.
  • Managing reservations, pre-registering guests, and blocking rooms according to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, as required by management.
  • Providing assistance with alternative lodging arrangements when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Front Desk computer systems and software.
  • Fluency in English; bilingual skills a plus.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
