Executive Chef

Job Summary:
The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure that all food preparation and cooking tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of the restaurant and its customers.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure that it meets the highest standards.
- Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
- Ability to manage and motivate kitchen staff.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and working in a kitchen environment.
- Exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold present in a kitchen environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Manual dexterity to cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks.
