Acquisition Security Specialist

ManTech International Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Acquisition Security Analyst I to join our team in the El Segundo, CA area. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Government Program Manager in developing and implementing comprehensive program protection methodologies to safeguard advanced technology programs throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information, critical system resources, and associated vulnerabilities.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of countermeasures to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement a risk management-based program protection plan and strategy.
- Provide technical advice and security support to collateral and SAP programs, as well as emerging mission areas.
- Collaborate with the PM, Contracting Officer, and contractor security officers to ensure standardized and correct formats are utilized for all DD Form 254 efforts throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.
- Support customer program protection/security officers in the development, execution, and implementation of Program Protection Planning (PPP).
- Assess threats and risks, develop risk management actions, and implement long-term courses of action.
- Assist in the development and writing of operations security (OPSEC) plans, transition plans, emergency action plans, transportation plans, security CONOPS, and other security documents as needed.
- Review program documentation for public release, ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) has proper markings, classifications, and distribution statements per Air Force doctrine.
- Prepare and produce analytical products from various resources to provide real-time, tailored information.
- Provide classification guidance and assistance for all security programs, including collateral and SAP programs.
- Write, review, and edit Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), Managed Access Plans (MAP), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), System Test Plans (STP).
- Assist government system security engineers in performing close-out actions for SAPs as needed.
- Develop and assist with security education and training for personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience with acquisition programs.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with SCI or SAR programs.
- Familiarity with security policy/manuals and ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals.
- Knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its incorporation in the Air Force acquisition process.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
- Willingness to travel with the scope of the Program's Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, and initiative requiring minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Occasional movement about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
