Job Description

The Nurse Resident position involves administering patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under the supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse. This role requires assessing patients' needs and developing individualized plans of care based on their responses. The ideal candidate will demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting.
  • Assess patients' needs and develop/revises individualized plans of care based on their needs and responses.
  • Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
  • Function as an advocate for patients and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A nursing school graduate degree.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license.
  • Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
  • ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
