As an Associate Veterinarian, you will support excellence in client experience, work collaboratively with HM and Medical Director, practice high-quality, gold-standard medicine, and provide exceptional care to our patients.

**Core Responsibilities & Requirements:**
- Supports excellence in client experience
- Works collaboratively with HM and Medical Director
- Practices high-quality, gold-standard medicine
- Examine, diagnose, and treat animals brought into the veterinary clinic/hospital for medical care
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations as well as more complex surgeries
- Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans
- Counsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeing
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans
- Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation
- Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed
- Stay up-to-date on new veterinary techniques, medications, and best practices
**Competencies And Experience:**
- Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of CA
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Time-management and delegation abilities
- Exercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills
- Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
