About the Role:


Brighton Center Inc is a private non-profit community-based organization with a mission to empower individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency. We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Coordinator to join our team.



Job Summary:


The Residential Care Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of program participants in a residential setting. This includes general supervision, care, and support to residents, as well as documentation of customer information.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for program eligibility
  • Assist with resident intakes
  • Monitor vital signs for potential substance withdrawal
  • Document customer information accurately
  • Provide supervision and crisis counseling as needed
  • Perform hourly house checks for safety and security


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Peer Support Specialist Certification a plus
  • Ability to work evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts; flexible schedule required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for data entry and communication
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery
  • Experience with behavior management techniques and crisis counseling
