Job Title: Canvass Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Canvass Manager to lead our innovative canvassing program in Erie, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of canvassers to engage with voters in their communities and turn out Democratic voters for the General Election.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project leadership to implement a successful door-to-door canvassing operation in Erie, PA.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassers remotely, including pre-packet briefings, virtual office hours, and post-packet debriefings.
  • Work with the project's Training Director to implement, adjust, and improve the remote training program.
  • Manage a diverse team of canvassers and provide guidance and support to ensure successful program execution.
  • Meet ambitious recruitment, hiring, training, and canvassing goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Access to a strong internet connection, reliable computer, and a cell phone.
  • Strong desire to help turn out Democratic voters.
  • Working knowledge of VoteBuilder and MiniVAN preferred.
