Carespring is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Aide Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to our patients and staff, ensuring a high level of care and comfort in our facility.
Responsibilities- Answer call lights and respond to patient needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Pass ice and water to patients between meals, and assist with hydration cart and HS snack pass.
- Assist with making patient beds and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Support the laundry portion of the STNA job, including putting away patient's clean personal laundry and stocking clean linen closets.
- Empty soiled utility containers in outside trash and mark personal items to prevent cross contamination.
- Set dining room tables and assist with meal service, including passing trays and drinks to residents in the dining room.
- Deliver room trays to patients' rooms and perform one-on-one visits/companionship with patients.
- Complete any other non-direct care tasks assigned by the nurse or unit manager.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and staff, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
