Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our St. Louis location. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, promoting their physical, personal, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and direct the provisions of nursing care, as prescribed by the physician, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.
  • Perform the initial and/or comprehensive nursing evaluation visit, identifying the primary focus of care, developing an individualized plan of care in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional or interdisciplinary team, patient, family, or caregiver.
  • Use critical nursing skills to regularly assess and reassess the patient's ongoing needs, report changes in patients' conditions, such as change in condition, adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and provide necessary nursing intervention within the scope of nursing standards of care.
  • Educate patients and their families or caregivers about managing patient's illness or injury, including home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in professional development and lifelong learning activities.
  • Supervise the LPNs and HHAs.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Current RN license, specific to the state you are assigned to work.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current and valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current liability auto insurance.
  • Must be able to meet all physical demands of the job which includes, but is not limited to seeing, speaking, touching, walking, standing, bending, reaching overhead, crouching/kneeling or crawling, as well as the ability to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs independently and up to 200lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction from management, as well as take initiative – willing to go above and beyond to ensure our patients needs are met and they are comfortable in their living environment.
  • Self-motivated to accomplish identified goals with a strong sense of accountability for results.
