The Medical Intensive Care Nurse will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This role involves close collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
The MICU is a high-acuity unit dedicated to providing intensive care to patients with severe and life-threatening conditions. The unit is equipped with cutting-edge technology and provides 24/7 monitoring and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

In this role, the Medical Intensive Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and managing patients with critical medical conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
You will also provide education and support to patients and their families, document patient care accurately, respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, and maintain a safe and sterile environment within the MICU.
