About the Role:
The General Manager is the highest management position within the Sonic Drive-In, responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the restaurant to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hiring, training, managing, supervising, directing, and developing a team of employees to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
- Leading by example, demonstrating a fair, firm, and fun leadership approach, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Managing a profit and loss statement to exceed expectations every week, month, and year, and making data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
- Swiftly resolving employee concerns and addressing customer complaints in a thoughtful and professional manner.
- Maintaining and enforcing Sonic safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Prior management experience in the restaurant or retail industry, with a proven track record of success.
- High standards for self and the team, with a positive attitude and resilience in the face of challenges.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks accordingly.
- Associate's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
