Job Title: Medical Phlebotomist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Phlebotomist to join our team at Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Health. As a Medical Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in our healthcare facility's success by providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary

The Medical Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, preparing them for laboratory testing, and maintaining accurate records. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, including labeling and packaging
  • Ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
  • Assist with patient registration and preparation for examinations
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support, including answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program
  • At least three years of phlebotomy experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed
