About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned product leader to help define and build the future of cloud computing as a Senior Product Manager for our EC2 Compute Platform.

As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for leading the definition and execution of the product strategy for our EC2 compute platform and EC2 storage features.

You will work closely with leaders across AWS, Amazon, and our partners to drive towards our vision and communicate with senior management on project status, strategy, risks, and issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and gather the necessary inputs to make high-quality product and roadmap decisions.
  • Work with multiple engineering teams and designers to deliver results to customers.
  • Define project requirements, priorities, methods for measurement, and track their execution and success.
  • Communicate with senior management on project status, strategy, risks, and issues.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience.
  • 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience.
  • 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience.
  • Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market.
  • Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
  • Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
