Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Blood Bank Technologist/Technician to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in a laboratory setting. This is a full-time, night shift position with a 3 12-hour shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specialize in the Blood Banking section of the laboratory, ensuring the safe and efficient collection, testing, and storage of blood products.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to provide accurate and timely test results, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and implement productivity and quality improvement systems to enhance laboratory efficiency and patient care.
- Maintain a high level of technical expertise, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- MT/MLT ASCP certification required, or eligible to obtain within 1 year.
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in a clinical lab or blood banking environment.
- Experience with productivity and quality improvement systems a plus.
