Role Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental protocols and state regulations. Collaborating with healthcare providers, you will deliver personalized and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing practices. You will advocate for patients and their families, embodying our organization's mission and values to ensure a positive patient experience.

This position is full-time, day shift (7am-7pm) in our advanced 30-bed Medical Oncology unit, dedicated to caring for patients with cancer diagnoses.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the care of assigned patients.
  • Facilitate efficient patient care processes, including preparation for examinations and general nursing duties.
  • Maintain and update patient records, including test results.
  • Administer medications as per physician directives.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications.
  • Handle incoming calls and provide triage when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state or an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
