About the Role

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings, coordinating material purchases and deliveries, and monitoring the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction Support: Participate in the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate material purchases, deliveries, tracking, and forecasting to ensure maximum utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
  • Construction Monitoring: Work closely with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance the company's ability to procure projects.
  • Special Projects: Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: 6 months of work experience successfully supporting similar primary responsibilities, meeting and exceeding performance expectations.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, customers, and vendors.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Other: Ability to read and understand drawings, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
