Cancer Care Professional

We are seeking an experienced Cancer Care Professional to join our team at CHI Health St. Elizabeth. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate, personalized care.
About the Role
- This position involves working closely with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cancer.
- Key responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, positioning equipment according to plan, and verifying proper dosage of ionizing radiation as prescribed by physicians.
- You will also be responsible for administering treatment, monitoring patients throughout the process, and recording treatment details in electronic medical records.
- Apart from these core duties, you will participate in scheduled chart round conferences and other quality meetings to ensure seamless operation and maintain up-to-date knowledge on current trends and developments in the field.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiation Therapy Program is required.
- ARRT (T) boards completion within 6 months of hire is mandatory.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required upon hire.
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this role is $70,000 - $85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
