Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Driver to join our team at The Pasha Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting customer freight and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and submit a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Inspect and maintain the tractor, including lifting the hood, checking tires, and inspecting air/brake lines.
  • Hook and unhook containers as required, following safety best practices and guidelines.
  • Pickup and deliver equipment from the Port of Oakland, customer locations, rail yards, and service centers within the commercial zone.
  • Open and close container doors, ensuring they are secure and properly aligned.
  • Sweep containers to ensure they are clean of debris, climbing into the container as needed.
  • Properly crank the landing gear on the chassis and attach/detach air/brake hoses.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service (HOS) and provide documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to receive instructions and updates.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a commercial driver.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazardous materials, tankers, and triples endorsements.
  • Current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Valid Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and climbing. The driver must be able to safely execute duties and maintain a clean and organized work area.
