Job Description

The Construction Quality Control Manager will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards through quality assurance oversight.
  • Developing and managing a systematic document control process for construction plans, specifications, submittals, and inspection reports.
  • Coordinating and conducting regular inspections, audits, and testing of materials, workmanship, and processes to verify compliance with contractual requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with the safety team to ensure that all construction activities adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Overseeing the quality control efforts of subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors involved in the construction projects.
  • Investigating and resolving any quality-related issues that arise during construction promptly.
  • Generating comprehensive quality control reports, including progress updates, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Communicating quality-related matters to project teams, management, and clients as needed.
Requirements

The qualified Construction Quality Control Manager will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in construction quality control, with a focus on public projects.
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices within the construction industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
