As a key member of our cardiac care team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of setting the standard for excellence in heart care.
Responsibilities- Welcome patients with a friendly smile and connect them to the right team members.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and direct them to the right person.
- Prepare patients for exams by gathering histories, checking vitals, and managing medications.
- Ensure treatment rooms are spotless and fully stocked.
- Administer vaccines, apply dressings, and perform various treatments like suture removal.
- Triage patient calls for follow-up with nurses or physicians.
- Manage drug refills, provide prescription information, and order essential supplies.
- Complete insurance forms, maintain medical records, and handle correspondence.
- Route messages and documents swiftly and accurately, and transcribe patient interactions into medical records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certification required within 18 months of hire.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting preferred.
