CVD Laboratory Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering to join our team as a CVD Laboratory Intern. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work with a team of technicians, engineers, and scientists to support the R&D stages of Chemical Vapor Depositions.
Essential Functions:- Operate complex CVD lab equipment to support research and development.
- Prepare glass substrates for lab depositions and ensure safe handling of chemicals.
- Troubleshoot process problems and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Continuously explore ways to improve safety and efficiency in the CVD lab operation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new CVD lab equipment.
- Operate small pilot-scale equipment in laboratory and manufacturing plants.
- Create and adhere to SOPs for CVD lab equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with lab personnel and adhere to NSG Group's Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a suitable field, such as engineering or chemistry.
- Demonstrated hands-on technical skills and strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, materials science, or chemistry.
- Experience in an industrial laboratory environment and handling hazardous chemicals.
- Self-starter with a strong desire for learning and improvement.
