Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our rail traffic team at Olsson.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with traffic and preemption analysis/design, performing site visits, and assisting with plan or study preparation. You will work closely with others on complex projects, providing industry-leading client service and having ownership in the work you do.

You will be passionate about working collaboratively with others, using your talents to positively affect communities, and contributing to the success of our team.

Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4-10 years traffic or transportation engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software)
  • Proficiency in Synchro (or similar software)
  • Strong problem-solving and math skills

Typical salary range for this position is $93,491 to $151,347+ and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. $128,819 average annual salary based on location and experience.
