Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare meals in accordance with established menus while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensure accurate portioning and serving of food based on standardized recipes.
• Deliver high-quality food products consistently.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Prepare meals promptly during designated service times.
• Address any community concerns that arise in the dining area.
• Follow departmental procedures for sanitation, safety, and cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and storage areas.
• Label and date all food items in storage.
• Oversee proper food handling to minimize contamination and waste.
• Propose menu adjustments to effectively utilize leftovers.
• Ensure thorough cleaning of all food service areas and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a cook.
• Understanding of sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to prepare meals following detailed instructions.
• Proficient in using various cooking tools and appliances.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is advantageous.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
