Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced School Age Lead Teacher to join our team at Cadence Academy Preschool of Klamath Falls.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum for school age children
  • Collaborate with other teachers and leaders to create a positive learning environment
  • Document and share with parents the important milestones in a child's day
  • Respect and observe children's interests, intervening when needed to maintain safety
  • Encourage and model social behavior and expectations that are developmentally appropriate
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must meet all state preschool lead teacher requirements
  • High level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) or college degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related
  • Previous experience as a preschool lead teacher or school age lead teacher required
