We are seeking a Sales Support Associate to assist our Sales VAR SMB Division.

Overview:

This customer-facing sales role is responsible for managing assigned accounts, focusing on revenue, margin, and growth through customer engagement, sales, and service. You will be accountable for customer satisfaction, revenue generation, goal attainment, and aligning with D&H's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement

  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls and address all customer inquiries regarding ETAs, pricing, inventory, and post-sale requests.
  • Provide customers with detailed product and service information.
  • Maintain current customer information and activities using our CRM system.
  • Manage inbound customer communications via calls, emails, and instant messages.
  • Resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Welcome, educate, and activate new accounts.
  • Present a professional company image through all forms of communication.
Support Functions

  • Assist the Inside Sales team and familiarize yourself with D&H's sales processes.
  • Process customer orders and returns received through various channels in our proprietary software.
  • Acquire a solid understanding of D&H and vendor programs (rebates, NCBs, MBOs, etc.) to independently create and place orders.
  • Provide coverage for representatives during their absence, including managing their communications and servicing accounts.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales Representatives and their accounts.
  • Conduct order entry, product bids, and quotes.
  • Aid in reactivating dormant accounts.
Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree or higher education is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or tele-sales.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
