Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee field personnel, daily/weekly schedules, and construction operations to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Supervise and schedule grading, drainage, paving, structures, and other miscellaneous construction crews and subcontractors.
- Provide leadership and direction to construction personnel, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and production.
- Manage field operations, coordinate work with other company Superintendents and subcontractors, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Assist Engineers with quantities and productions, and coordinate equipment and crews to maximize efficiency.
- Attend status meetings to discuss progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Perform additional assignments as needed to support project success.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction projects, with a strong background in infrastructure, roads, highways, bridges, tunnels, etc.
- Demonstrated decision-making skills and ability to work in high production environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.
- Working understanding of types of equipment necessary for production and experience with Federal requirements.
- Familiarity with DDOT/DDOE standards and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent team building skills and ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions.
- Working for an international company with opportunities for growth and development.
