Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
Nemours Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse-Practice to join our team. As a key member of our pediatric primary care team, you will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with our clinical medical providers, and contribute to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Safe and Effective Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to pediatric patients with minimal guidance, adhering to established principles and standards of care.
- Collaborate with Clinical Providers: Work closely with our medical providers to assess, treat, and manage patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Administrative Support: Assist the nurse manager or office manager with administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and administrative policies.
- Triaging and Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by the provider and triage patient calls using established protocols and clinical advice.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform Phlebotomy and Laboratory Tests: Obtain blood specimens and conduct back-office laboratory tests as needed.
- Provide Age-Appropriate Care: Deliver care that meets the unique needs of pediatric patients, ensuring a developmentally appropriate approach.
Requirements:
- Education and Licensure: RN required, BSN preferred; must have or be eligible for PA nursing license.
- Experience: Pediatric office nurse experience required; phone triage experience preferred.
- Certifications: BLS Certification with the American Heart Association required.
