Job Overview

StormTrap, a leading provider of stormwater management solutions, is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join their team. This role requires a technical expert with strong AutoCAD skills and experience in the civil engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide design and drafting support to regional Territory Managers, General Sales Managers, and Project Managers.
  • Utilize AutoCAD skills to create preliminary design layouts, budget estimates, and approval drawings.
  • Review civil engineering plans to complete preliminary designs and provide detailed sets of approval drawings.
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and review completed work for completeness and correctness.
  • Support the overall drafting and design needs of all StormTrap departments.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of civil drafting experience, with stormwater industry and precast experience a plus.
  • Outstanding 2D AutoCAD skills with 3D modeling experience.
  • Ability to read and understand civil plan sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism and results-oriented approach.
