Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and promoting a safe and healthy environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs and goals.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education and support to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient progress, identify potential complications, and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate adverse outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that nursing staff are empowered to make decisions and take action.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and evidence-based guidelines to ensure that patient care is informed by the latest knowledge and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • CPR certification.
  • Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a GI specialty.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in a specialty area, such as GI nursing.
