Job Opportunity

University of Pittsburgh Physicians is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Division of Nephrology within the Department of Medicine. This is a full-time position with a mix of remote and in-office work, with one day per week in our Wexford office. As an outpatient APP, you will support our Wexford outpatient office and CKD patients through telemedicine, working with a large team across western Pennsylvania with 7 outpatient locations. We are looking for an experienced APP to see patients with CKD and renal diseases.

  • Current state PA or CRNP license and certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner, with a focus on nephrology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality patient care and safety
