About the Role:
The Customer Service Representative is a critical position at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, serving as the first point of contact for our customers. This role is essential to our success, as it involves supporting customers with their day-to-day financial needs and building trusted relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and contribute to the company's success by recommending additional products and services.
- Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
- Gain an understanding of the banking industry and contribute to meeting branch goals in various categories, including deposits and loans.
- Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
- Be an active participant in and advocate for community growth and prosperity.
- Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.
Requirements:
- An interest and experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows are essential for this position.
