Senior Clinical Research Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at Northwell Health. This is a critical role that requires expertise in research coordination, protocol development, and staff training.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement research protocols, hypotheses, and educational curricula.
- Coordinate daily activities of designated studies or groups of studies and maintain industry relationships.
- Guide training of faculty physicians, residents, medical students, and research staff on good clinical practice and external regulatory agency requirements.
- Develop scientific protocols and generate hypotheses for research inquiries independently and in collaboration with faculty and trainees.
- Create and implement research education core curriculum for residents and faculty in conjunction with physician leadership.
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and scientific meetings.
- Use statistical software to analyze study data and interface with biostatisticians for analysis.
- Oversee the administration of assessments as assigned and related to study protocol.
- Collect data, confer with PI, and forward results to sponsor (internal or external).
- Interface with external agencies and organize all phases of grant process for submission to funding agencies as necessary.
- Oversee clinical research staff performing clinical functions when warranted.
- Liaise with agencies, pharmaceutical companies, laboratories, and equipment and supply companies as needed.
- Identify and pursue extramural funding opportunities through pursuit of grants and clinical trials.
- Collaborate with physicians, investigators, and other healthcare providers regarding subject care as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
