Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Radiologic Technologist performs imaging procedures and treatments in accordance with established radiology standards to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities


• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of radiologic principles and theories, employing the most suitable techniques and positioning to achieve optimal imaging results.


• Develops and implements effective imaging and treatment plans based on patient needs and established protocols.


• Ensures thorough documentation to align with hospital policies and procedures.


• Maintains a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff by keeping equipment and work areas organized.


• Engages in performance improvement initiatives to uphold high standards of patient care.


• Achieves assigned performance goals.


Qualifications

Education:


• Minimum: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current certification in Radiography (ARRT(R)), or a recent graduate awaiting registry examination.


• Proof of ARRT certification must be provided within a specified timeframe post-graduation. A state license is required where applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within a designated period following hire.


Licensure and Certification:

Minimum:
• ARRT(R); BLS certification required within 14 days of employment; new graduates must obtain required registry within a specified timeframe; state licensure as required.

• Proficient computer skills.
