About the Role

Oatly AB is seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team in Millville, NJ. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as developing and implementing employee safety and environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate injuries/illnesses, near-misses, and environmental accidents
  • Assist with the development and implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures
  • Provide industrial hygiene support, sampling, and solutions as needed
  • Monitor and inspect employees for compliance with PPE and other regulations
  • Assist with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and compliance activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety/Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering/Environmental Sciences, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related degree
  • Minimum 5 years EHS experience, including experience in Environmental and Safety auditing, and Industrial Hygiene in food safety or beverage
  • Strong data management, evaluation, and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory agency interactions and standards, such as OSHA, EPA, NJDEP, and other local agency standards
