POSITION SUMMARY

Respond promptly to requests from guests and collaborate with other departments. Prepare the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies and transport it to designated areas. Enter guest rooms following established protocols to ensure safety and privacy. Replace guest amenities and supplies as needed. Change out soiled linens and towels for fresh items. Make beds and neatly arrange towels. Clean and sanitize bathrooms. Dispose of trash, soiled linens, and room service items appropriately. Verify that all appliances are present and functional within the room. Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances. Dust, polish, and remove any marks from walls and furnishings. Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications; and store flammable materials properly. Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times; protect the confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; and express gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language. Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and over 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

Related Work Experience: No prior experience necessary.

Supervisory Experience: Not required.

License or Certification: None required.

The pay range for this position is $28.50 to $29.50 per hour and includes health care benefits, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and additional wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to general eligibility, waiting periods, contributions, and other requirements and conditions.
