Job Summary

The Laborer - Installation and Repair Specialist is responsible for assisting with installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of various infrastructure components, including underground raceways, foundations, and control house slabs.


This role requires a high level of physical activity, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of underground raceways, foundations, and control house slabs.
  • Perform physical labor, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain and properly store tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as construction or maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as understand and comply with safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with underground raceways and foundation construction.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Experience with power tools and equipment.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a variety of environments, including outdoor and indoor settings. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.


The physical demands of this role include climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.


Pay and Benefits

The Laborer - Installation and Repair Specialist will be paid an hourly rate of $17.00, with opportunities for overtime and advancement.
