Position Overview:
Conduct non-invasive vascular examinations across various facilities as assigned.
Responsibilities include generating comprehensive reports that encompass test results and initial interpretations. The types of assessments performed include, but are not limited to, extracranial and intracranial cerebrovascular evaluations, duplex scans of upper and lower extremity arteries, physiologic assessments, venous duplex imaging, as well as evaluations of the aorta-iliac, renal, mesenteric systems, dialysis access, and preoperative vein mapping.
Additionally, assist in invasive procedures in diverse environments, including surgical settings. Provide essential information relevant to clinical findings to aid in final reporting. Responsible for transcribing and coding outcomes of non-invasive assessments.Essential Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited two-year allied health program and a minimum of two years of relevant post-graduate experience, or graduation from an accredited vascular ultrasound program with equivalent vascular experience and active certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
A robust understanding of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and pathology as they pertain to non-invasive vascular testing is essential. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization is required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Desirable Qualifications:
At least two years of experience performing vascular ultrasounds post-internship is preferred, although recent graduates with strong skills will also be considered. A bachelor's degree is highly favored.
Work Schedule:
Three 12-hour shifts on designated days.

Sign-on bonus available upon hire.
