Vascular Sonographer Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to perform non-invasive vascular studies at our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and pathology, and be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
Responsibilities include preparing reports with test data and written preliminary interpretations, assisting during invasive procedures, and transcribing, typing, and coding results of noninvasive exams. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of non-invasive vascular testing and be able to provide accurate and timely results.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited 2-year allied health program and two years of post-graduate experience or graduate of an accredited vascular ultrasound program, with the equivalent vascular experience and active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of two years' experience post internship performing vascular ultrasounds is preferred however, new grads with strong skills will be considered.
Work Environment:
Monday through Friday daytime hours
